It's the catch-up that's really killing us, and if I had been responsible and applied for the relief/deferments when we qualified, we would be much less badly off now. But now, we are both working, and we are living rent-free, so it's just a matter of getting caught Jule Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07895353397595306177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22427197.post-1146074845244034202006-04-26T14:07:00.000-04:002006-04-26T14:07:00.000-04:00jule ann you can apply for interest relief on your...jule ann you can apply for interest relief on your canadian student loans, which means the gov't pays the interest on your behalf for six months as long as you fall into a certain income bracket...don't know if this will helplisa bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08389403881210286169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22427197.post-1145997616090192572006-04-25T16:40:00.000-04:002006-04-25T16:40:00.000-04:00oops, that last comment was from me.~Marleneoops, that last comment was from me.<BR/>~MarleneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22427197.post-1145997548574398072006-04-25T16:39:00.000-04:002006-04-25T16:39:00.000-04:00I concurr. It would have made more sense to go to the University at Buffalo and commute from home for two years and then transfer...i'm sure that I could have saved ten thousand dollars, at least. Unfortunately, rebellious teenagers don't think that far ahead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
